We have an area of garden that is down to wood chippings and bushes, however it has very little colour, so off I trotted in the hope of devine inspiration. I was walking around a very expensive reclamation yard where I spotted a circular planter in three sections, one was pale blue, one was yellow and the other green, it looked great. On closer inspection I realised that the planter consisted of three steel car wheel rims painted and placed on top of each other, a scrap yard quoted me £3.00 per rim. Now just remember all of those half used tins of paint that didn't come in as handy as you thought they would.
All that you need to do is place the first two outer rim up and the top one outer rim down, the compost in the top rim should be sufficient to weight the other two down, but further weight could be placed in the bottom two if desired, or even a do it yourself welding job, I'm definitely up for this.
