Buying a Property With Squatters in It?
The Comments |
Thanks for your help. I have been reading posts on here for a few months and have found them really useful. They haven't sent me the tenancy agreement.... That was supposed to be today! I have an e mail thread stating the cost and that the price would be held for me. I have replied today stating that it is usual the owner pays community charge! There is no mention of the tenant having to pay community charge on any oThe problem is that I would like to tell them to stick it but really want to live on corvera , it seems an ideal place to stay and look around for somewhere to buy.... Plus everything is terminated this end for me to fly over 4th July! Do u know anyone else who rents properties out long term on corvera?

Well, maybe you've now made enough posts to start your own thread!
And since this thread is supposed to be about squatters, here's a suggestion: why not just move in to the apartment as agreed, then stop paying the rent, never mind the community fees? By the time they get to take you to court, your 12 months wil be up anyway and you can walk away!
(Please don't quote me!!)
