trying to buy a property in spain

Hello
My husband and i trying to buy a propertyin spain but the banks in englan d they are telling us that they only do mortgages within he uk properties.
What can we do? where to go to get the mortgage.
We already have the house looked at but is missnig the mortgage.

You will need to go to a Spanish bank and meet their lending criteria.

If you do a simple internet search for spanish mortgages there are lots of brokers that can help you

Nellyspiry, as Inspectahomespain says that are specialist lenders in the UK.
Many years ago I used Conti Financial Services who are based in Brighton who were very helpful - but there are others.

If you can easily afford to pay the mortgage ...without relying on rental income from holiday let's then go for it .otherwise think again be warned.
