Hello, first time poster, been lurking for a while. Thanks for all the great info, particularly from Maria and ads etc.
Anyway, I've got a court case coming up soon and my solicitor has informed me that the Bank is trying to avoid returning my deposit as they're saying I'm an investor (which I'm not). I've been asked to declare that I'm not an investor to the court. I'm not the quickest thinker out there and I'm worried that the Bank is going to try and trick me into saying something i shouldn't. Has anyone any experience of this scenario and the dark arts associated with it!?
For example, if they ask me what would i use the apartment for, i will say for holidays for myself and friends and family - but will they then assume that i will be charging them rent or accommodation fees? I'm thinking i should just say that the apartment is for myself and my partner only. What do you think?
Thanks, Phil
