Driving 'motos' in Spain

Hi there

I am going to hire a 125cc scooter in Spain. I want to go from Malaga to Algarrrobo which is about 40 kilometres east.

To get there, I can take either the N-340 or the A-7. Are any of these two classes of roads probited to EU full driving license holders? I have had my license for over 20 years.

Mopeds over 50cc can be driven on Spanish motorways. The N340 is simply a national road (most equivalent to UK A roads) and the A7 is a motorway so not a problem.

Do you have a full licence? N332 say provisionals are not permitted.

Yes, it is a full license and I have haeld it for some time. From what someone else has said there are specific classes of license and period held: Car driving license B for at least 3 years.
