Hi All, Four of us, work mates of many years, bought an apartment in Spain in 1998 [Playa Flamenca]. Very sadly, one of our friends passed away a few years ago. His family have messed us about with regards to the apartment. They want nothing to do with it. We've arranged with them to use a [Spanish] solicitor in UK and they have got instructions [and a rough idea of costs]. We have told them that we will pay all legal fees as and when they come up. But, for some unknown reason, they are simply not getting on with it. We have no idea why and are dumbfounded by their attitude. One idea is to try to sell, at a huge discount, the three, equal, shares owned by myself and the other two friends/owners. Does anybody know how this could be achieved? The apartment, 3 bed, is valued at around euros 80,000. I think that the three of us would accept around euros 45,000 for our 3/4. Obviously the purchaser would have to deal with the other family. any ideas, guys? thanks.
