Low pressure from new water heater
The Comments |
Hi guys, I'm new here so please be gentle!
ive installed a new electric water heater at home and the pressure coming out is awful! It was fine with the old one but a bigger one was required so I fitted one!
Why would the pressure but lower then the previous one when the cold pressure in is exactly the same?

No expert but it may be that because the heater is bigger, the water takes longer to heat up as it passes through the heater hence the lower pressure coming out. Daft question but have you checked the stopcock and if possible opened it so there is more pressure going into the heater, to see if it makes a difference?

Good point thank you!
all the valves are fully open so I don't think it's that.
