Hi - I've been very lazy over the last few years and have just stuck with Unicaja and automatically renewed my home insurance. The amount this year is eye-watering...is there a similar site to confused.com for Spainish home insurance or can anyone recommend a good broker in the Fuengirola area? Thanks

I've been with Liberty Seguros for the last 5 years or so. Pretty well priced and paid up promptly when I had a leak. I use Salt's Bay in Torrevieja as my broker, even though i'm down by Mojacar.

Hello I think you took a good decision of taking insurance for your house. It really helps you in many ways. But make you take insurance in a good company so that you wont be wasting your money. Also read the instruction very well. Even simple things is very important.

I understand that those that just allow automatic renewal of insurance (based on UK advice) are the ones that get financially disadvantaged, so it would seem a good time to go back to the market and get a better deal...
