My name is Sandra I have just found your site Iam so happy .I have had such a hard time trying to find out the progress of my apartment on Mar Menor no one will tell me what is going on I was suppose to get my keys last August all my payments were sent on time I emailed them two weeks before I was to get my keys and heard nothing then after a few weeks I was told that there had been a delay I was gutted as I had arranged to go out there in September but trying to find out anything has been a nightmare and very upsetting friends of mine had arranged to meet us there for xmas.Polaris should not have taking my payment  at xmas 2006 when they new that  they had not even started the build I suppose there are lots of people in the same boat my apartment number is 14431 I would like to here from anybody that is having the same problem.

Hi Sandran, sounds about right!! I haven't heard of a single new build ever that hasn't overrun for one reason or another. Mine overan by 1 year and I realised that thats about the average time. The only consulation is that there may be a compensation clause on your contract that pays out if the propery  does not complete on time. Have you paid the full amount? Normally you only pay the balance on completion when they hand the keys over. Polaris are huge so I wouldn't worry too much. It's a real pain getting any answers from developers after they have your money though, I went over numerous times to check on things and even popped into the builders office a few times.
