I am trying to arrange travel from Almeria Airport to Almerimar and back(for 2).Has anyone got any info regarding taxis or public transport?

I haven't used this company myself but someone else on our development in Vera has used them from Almeria Airport & found them to be reliable. If you are going to a hotel or holiday development, they offer door to door service.
One bit of advice they did offer though was that it is useful if you can speak Spanish or borrow someone elses Spanish skills in order to deal with them over the phone to confirm the pick up times for the return journey.
Glad I saved you so much money though

Noreen,
All advice gratefully taken on-board, I think you are worth more than you saved me. You are like a breath of fresh air coming out off Spain. You guessed it, I had the most horrid year with developer,agent and a solicitor, however that is all in the past and with the credit crunch and rising euro Spain has gone off my wish list.
I feel I have a friend out there so bye for now and take care.

Don't let the (Bad) Developers, Agents, Solicitors put you off Spain.
We also had an horrific year last year but having completed our purchase back in October, we wouldn't change anything.
Now our only problems are trying to get our administrators to work with us rather than against us but we will get there in the end.
We are due to have our 8th visit since completion, in 6 weeks time & we can't wait - it is a real home from home.
