There is no legal classification of rental contracts just subject to number of months. The classificatorty criterium is the PURPOSE of the contract.
For instance.- If you rent for two years but the contract expresses explicit or implicitly that is not your habitual dwelling, you will have a contrato de temporada which is not subejct to obligatory time extensions up to 5 years.
So, if you want to get a vivienda contract, mention that in the text of the contract.
