Have been registered and viewing EOS for some time now but have not contributed beacause never really felt able to improve on the many excellent contributions to be found.
We were hoping to become Spanish Property owners of an off plan apartment due to be completed September 2007 and would then hopefully chat with other owners. Have now decided that after years of lies and deception causing frustration, depression and anger, it is time to give up and try to cut our losses. Over the last 18 months or so any postings from me would probably have consisted of abuse and insults directed at the Spanish Nation in general and Developers in particular. Really wanted our developement in Almeria to happen because the plans looked good and the village was beautiful and typically Spanish which is why we have clung on so long even though we really knew we should start taking action. If we can recover our deposit we might look again but it would NOT be off-plan.
However, have had nothing but admiration for Maria's continued input (yes, I know she's Spanish) and unlike the solicitor that we employed, seems determined and able to get results.
So Maria, would you be willing to pursue our deposit on our behalf. We have what I hope is a genuine Bank Guarantee but that would be for you to confirm. If yes, could you please inform us of approximate likely cost e.g. is it a percentage of what is recovered or based on time spent, and what the next step is.
