We have just had to sign for a letter/demand in the UK , from the Town Hall for the fee for the parking sign ( the one which says noone can park within 3m of our gates).
This was issued in November . We sold the house to another owner in July and have notified the town hall by email, but have still received this. I would guess they should know we are not the owners now.
Is it like other taxes that you have to pay if you owned on 1st jan, or is it different?
Any advice would be appreciated.
