Santander buys GE Capital Bank Ltd

Here's one for the money experts please  .
On my latest Ryanair credit card statement, it says that on the 7th Jan '09, GE Capital Bank was acquired by Banco Santander SA. Does anyone know if this is just the UK credit card/ money lending arm or will they have bought all of GE Money Bank? I ask as my mortgage is with GE and wondered what (if any) effect that may have?

I found the answer:
"GE Money Mortgages & Secured Loans are still managed by GE Money and are not included in the acquisition."
