Hi there
Pruna and Olvera are quite different
Olvera is larger, more cosmoplitan, more touristy, I would think it might be better for schooling (but there is only english child in the secondary schools there, so not exactly a glut of brits) , it is 'posher', and prettier, and you pay for that fact
Pruna is a real working village, stunningly beautiful, small very friendly population and incredibly cheap housing. But there is no bus service, so you have to have a car. There are perhaps 20 english families there, mostly using it as a holiday home. The new influx are middle aged professionals.
neither village has any jobs whatsoever,
The new mayor of Pruna is a female communist, and is really smartening up the village
Olvera has a small market on Saturdays, Pruna has a large village on Fridays
Spanish life in pruna is spent out of doors, many of the inhabitants have horses, and hunting is commonly practised, it is one of only four hunting villages (which I think means hunters do not need licences)
Yuo will love either place, if is a second/holiday home then i would personally recommed Pruna, you get more space in Pruna, but if it is live there the Olvera might have the better schools.
