Spanish Books

Maria would be able to help us with this one. Can anybody recommend any Spanish authors? Any must read classics apart from the obvious Don Quioxte. I am more familiar with South American authors such as Garcia Marquez and Isabel Allende. So come on what are your fave spanish reads?

Cervantes wrote a novel titled " The english spanish woman". ( La española inglesa) I found it was very proper to post the link here:
Spanish versionhttp://es.wikisource.org/wiki/La_espa%C3%B1ola_inglesa
Maybe Google can do an acceptable translation of the text!
