I purchased a penthouse apartment in terrazes de la torre April 2007 i have paid 40% deposit and was told my penthouse apartment would be ready in June 2009.Ihave just found out from my spanish lawyer that Polaris World dont even have a building warrant or permission to build.I think Polaris World are in breach of contract and i should get a full refund . Is there anybody purchased a Penthouse Apartment in this resort on phase 2. I would like to hear from you .I have contacted polaris world by email phone and letter and i havnt had any reply . I dont like the way Polaris world use these tactics to sell these properties they knew what they were doing and still gave people the wrong information relating to time and build. I think this is a terrible way for a company to hoodwink people into purchasing there dream.I have booked a flight and i am going over this month to try and sort this out . my intension is to make life very difficult for Polaris World to operate there day to day running of there company . if they can mess people about so can i.

That's awful but you are not alone. Please don't despair, help IS at hand.
We, on EOS, have a wonderful, dedicated lawyer called Maria de Castro who I will contact to advise you on the thread, in case she hasn't seen this yet. She has willingly helped so many on this & another forum.

Dear Pollywolly:
I am sure that a good check of your contract and a good legal defense will put you in better rest. Law in Spain can protect you fully in that situation.
Best wishes,
Maria
Ps. By the way More: It is a long time I just contribute in EyeonSpain... it is certainly the one which better matches with the friendly, easy style that we have at Costaluzlawyers

Hello there
I have details of a solicitor in Cartagena who got us our money back from Polaris when our property was not finished by the date shown in the contract.
If you need the details either pm me ( if you can ) or reply on forum. If you are visiting area perhaps you could arrange to see him. Send him an email or ring him for his advice.
Polaris reply to no-one. They did not even reply to notarised letters when our solicitor sent them. They paid up the week before we were due in court. Took about 8 months due to court strike. We were told normally 6 months.
