Hi everyone,
I have just received EOS newsletter and I can´t believe is being around for 5 years. Well done!! My idea of a birthday party for EOS is a barbacue or similar dinner party with loads of food and drinks. People invited can contribute by bringing food and drinks so it is not expensive for EOS team. I am so excited now. I can´t wait for July to come.
Any suggestions?
Ana

Maria,
that is a good idea. It is better an evening meal because of the weather. Where could this dinner be held?

Just got my email. It all sounds great. We are up for almost anything (No Golf) so as long as it is within reasonable distance from us we will be there.

Were you thinking of one party down Malaga way or others in different areas?

I think people could group and gather wherever they are and celebrate EOS 5th birthday. It does not have to be Costa del Sol only.

You can't go wrong with a barbacue. How about having 4 or 5 spread through out Spain and then linking them through the internet.

........you could always make it an authentic English style barbeque??
wait for a rainy day, then all huddle up on white plastic chairs, under upturning brollies, drinking wine out of a mug, (to risky for glass!) while chewing on a half cooked, half burned bit of chiken, while watching the host thrash backward and forwards to the grill in the kitchen, cos the rains put the barbeque out, and then take it in turns every now again to shout above the roaring gale '' is there anything we can do to help?''
.......there, bet that's made you all envious!!

Ah!
The good 'ole British BBQ days, sniff! How I remember them well...
You end up not eating much and still getting Salmonella poisoning, and getting soaked inside and out... and that's just from the rain.
Plus you end up having watered down beer!
I suppose we could delay the EOS Birthday Bash until, say..... erm... wow... weather that bad huh.... ah!... erm... never happens on the CDS really... erm .... got it.... We can hold it in the UK instead!
