Two 4 1!

secondly travelling by hydrofoil to morocco

can anyone advise where to get e timetable, the approximate costs and what is worth doing if only going for a day trip?

Hi Advisor

I would suggest catching the train at San Roque (it's closer to you than Algeciras) -

Dep: San Roque 07:18 - 12:28 - 16:03
Arr: Ronda 08:56 - 14:10 - 17:34

Dep: Ronda 09:57 - 16:35 - 19:58
Arr: San Roque 11:29 - 18:19 - 21:27

Tickets are €6.70 each way obtainable at the station in Estacion San Roque ask for ida y vuelta for a return ticket. Highly recommended.

As far as Morocco is concerned - have you been before? If not, I would suggest you do an organised trip the first time - there's a company called Coast Africa who specialise, and I believe you can also book trips in the English Bookshop in Sabinillas.

If you are adamant that you want to drive over there yourself you can buy the tickets at any of the many cabins along the road from Manilva to Algeciras.

Two years ago my wife and I took the ferry to Tangiers, from the very first moment of dis-embarking the ferry we where constantly hasseled by beggers/guides etc. Tangiers is a cess-pit, it seemed to appear Rommell had just left!

Beer is very expensive we called at a restaurant to get something to eat, to be told no menu as electric had gone off in Tangiers would be off for at least 4 days.

I have travelled all over the world visiting 3rd world countries but Tangiers as to be the biggest dump of them all. If you really insist on going to Morocco, try Marakesh but I think this more of a long weekend break!

Please let me know how you get on.

We just came back from a day trip to Morocco, and we had a blast, my recomendation is to hire a private guide they wll keep you from the worse of it, unless of course you express an interest in a carpet, than your on your own

We went with tifo chebaa (http://www.tangiertoursguide.com/about_me.html) I'd highly recomend him, cost is very reasonable and more importantly he met us right at the ferry.
