The Comments |
Has anyone got the slightest idea on how I should go about getting my card back ? Used it in a Servired ATM yesterday as I have done before with no problems but alas lady luck did a runner on me yesterday. The machine threw a wobbbly and shutdown with my bank card in it. I been to the Servired site but no advice on how to go about getting it back ? Anyone know who is responsible for them the bank (in this case BBVA in Gandia Port) or Servired ? Ive tried emailing them but the email address i can find is bouncing ?
Help !
John

Hi John,
You should go into the bank first thing Monday with some ID to get your card back. This is the simplest way of doing it.
Good luck.

However, if they work on the same basis as UK banks (I work in one) the retained cards are destroyed and you will have to apply to your own bank for a new card.

Agree with previous poster - the bank are highly unlikely to return your card - they may not even be responsible for the atm. If you haven't already done so, you should cancel your card asap and request a replacement from the card provider.

Well the reason I said to enquire in the bank where the cash machine is situated is because the same thing happened to me here in Spain. And all they did was return the card to me, as simple as that. In my case, it was because I forgot my PIN and tried 3 times and on the 3rd attempt it was retained.
