I've just received notification from Carmon Munoz at Housing Commuidades that owners of Town Houses (unsure of villas) are covered under the Community Fees and don't require separate insurance. I was made aware by my solicitor at completion of purchase that I did need independent insurance so will be now looking for a refund.
Hope this helps a few recoup a lot!
