builder wanted

Hi

After being disappointed by my builder is there anyone ??? who can recommend me a good renovation builder for a renovation project ?(roof ,plumbing,elec,extension )  in the Mojacar/ Turre /Los Gallardos /Antas area .

or is this to much to ask  ? i wonder .. i must just learn to live with they way they are ? neh i do not think so :) 

Spanish or English Is not important to me, as long as they are honest ,official and stick to their word and stick to what they put on paper and do a good job

Hi Zoe try posting on your EOS community forum and surrounding communitys, that way. You may also get good recomendations from people who have had work completed, plus you also can see the quality of any work done!

I have a property management business and do a lot of this work but not in your area i.m afraid. If i could offer any advice though i would say be patient to get the right people.

Always, always , always check out their references and work they have completed, make sure you take seperate advice on the licences etc that you need and always get more than one quote.

I have a number of builders that I do their quotes and paperwork for and check the quality of completed jobs. When I speak to people afterwards I always recomend that once you have a good supplier then maintain a good relationship, dont try and cut the cost (because you will only cut the quality) and any work you get done SPECIFY it in writing so there are no misunderstandings

Try and find a personal recommendation from within your community, English, Spanish or whatever. Good builders are there if you look for them.

It also helps to get the introduction made personally eg"This is my friend Zoe who is looking for a builder she can trust and I recommended you to her" So ask your contact to do this for you.
