Hi all of you lovely people...
We are new to this so please be patient. For hte last nineteen years we have been in this beautiful place called Napier, on the North Island of New Zealand. We are in the process of moving to Spain. We are Dutch nationals. Any advice, tips, ideas, suggestions are welcome.
More particular we would like to know something about taxes to be paid when we move our household goods from New Zealand to Spain. We are wondering if we have to do this direct (New Zealand to Spain) or that it would be better to do this via Holland. We read somewhere (but cannot find this info anymore) that if we would arive from a country outside the EU we wouldhave to pay taxes on the goods we bring in. So please, any thoughts on this.
Our plan is to setup a restaurant in Albir, Altea or Calpe. We are actually in the process of striking a deal... (fingers crossed).
So we will also be looking for a property to live.
Thanks to all who are willing to comment..........................
