We are about to complete on selling our house in Spain , though we are in the U.K. . Will our venders bank be able to pay directly into a money exchange account like ( key currency ) or perhaps into our solicitors account to be transferred there . There are several names on the deeds and we don't all have spainish bank accounts

Could anyone advise me how best to receive the proceeds of my sale ? I am about to complete but my solicitor hasn't been very clear as to how he will pay me , there was mention of a bankers draft, but I wondered if a transfer can be made into my U.K. bank account ?

I'm just in the process of selling my villa and should complete in the next few days . Was wondering if anyone is aware or  how the solicitor will send the money from the sale to me ? There was mention of a bankers draft at the beginning .

Thanks fir the reply Windtalker . I was wondering , you mentioned the escutura is this the deeds ? If so woukd they be held by the bank we have a mortgage with or our solicitor, who has had power of attorney ever since we first bought the villa

We are in the process of selling our villa . It was built in 2003 , though some had pools built by the builders , most added them after they moved in , which we did . It has now come to our attention that we need permission , I'm not sure if it was granted or not as it's so long ago . Would anyone know how we could find out . Woukd it be logged with our solicitor. We have used then ever since the purchase . They are saying we would of needed to apply to the community, as there was one originally , though there isn't one now . As far as we are concerned , there has never been one . We have never paid a community charge and there are no shared areas .
