Have yu read " The Tipping Point"? Steven Schaffer, our Steven, loves it, together with this other one:
We read and talk a lot on philosophy,values, human resources and potential... in our Law Firm. We do not have anyone to fire us for not doing express legal work the 8 hours around.
We actually hire and fire us themselves! 
It is very expensive to hire a boss and they are... actually....kind of old fashioned!
