Legal tips 713. Re-invest in Spain
Thursday, February 23, 2012 @ 4:35 PM

This post is really a steam letting-off

I dream of this. I know. I have already said this to you many times since 2008.

But as Spain is my country and I know well the goodness of it, I cannot avoid to feel a pain every time we obtain a refund and send money back abroad.

I feel the passion for you to come over again, we need you. We will make you happy!

There are real bargains in Spain these days. As soon as the euro crisis is over I am sure prices will start rising again. So, it is the time. Believe me.

I know someone who is buying an office of around 70 m2 in Algeciras for 30k. Is it not incredible?

Anyhow! Have a good evening...

Maria

We loved living in Spain and are hoping to return once again shortly. I intend to rent long term again but if the price is right will consider buying.
Thank you for helping all the people to get refunds etc back, you do a wonderful job.
Many people who don't need to work in Spain, I feel will being buying again and I hope it will get your beautiful country back on it's feet and the people in work. Karen

Perhaps, if the Spanish system (legal or governmental) had felt duty bound to ensure a speedy solution to our case against the developer/bank/lawyer or whoever is responsible for returning our £70K plus legal fees and seven years interest, we may have had the confidence to procede with our drteam to own a holiday home in Spain.
However after seven years (since we paid our deposit) of stress and hoping we are now resigned to the fact that this will never happen for us even if we do eventually see our money again.
You see, the problems that eventually come with ageing are overtaking us.

How true Sandra we have also been waiting 7 years and the 7 years have taken their toll on our health. We are both retired now but still dream of living in Spain, but now fear that is all it will ever be.

Maria you won our case for deposit plus interest plus legal fees, but sadly the developer and the banks are not forthcoming in honouring the court judgements, as you yourself have said we are pinning our hopes that the bank will honour the court judgement and keep their word and repay us in July of this year as they said back in July 2011.

If we ever get our money back I think our age and health would be against us and our dream might have to be of long term rentals to allow us to still enjoy what we can of your beautiful Spain.
