When you go up to the mountain you can see the Castle.You must go carefully, because there are a lot of curves, in that road; but the landscape is very nice.It is situated to the North-West of San Roque.

Here, you can see the Castle near.

And here, almost arriving to the village, the Castle is closer.

This is the fortress and inside it there is a village, which is surrounded by some walls.There are very few cases, like this one, in which there is a people living there.This fortress belongs to the Middle Ages.

In this street, you can meet a very good and not expensive restaurant.The disposition and estructure of the houses remind us of muslim cities centre, which exist yet.

This is the restaurant, which name I do not remember, but it is very known there, because it is the only one in the village.As you can see, it is pleasing to the eye.

Going out of the Castle to the road and through this arch, you can see a big reservoir.

Going back to the Castle, you can meet this nice corner.

The village has some narrow streets, like this one; They have a Muslim origin.

Through this arch, you can see some houses, which are out of the Castle and the village inside.

At the end of this picture, you can see the new village of Castellar.When the visibility is good, in that area, you can see, from here, the Bay of Algeciras, Gibraltar and Africa.

This the road to go back to Algeciras and Gibraltar.

Here the road follows downstairs to the main road which arrives to Algeciras.

This is the reservoir, seen from the left side of the Castle and from the right side of the road, when you go down by car.
