A diestro y siniestro = Left and right
It is refered to implement something without discretion either circumspection.Example: "He, so brute, threw out the walking stick ( bastón, cachava) and started to deal firewood (leña, golpes = blows) left and right".
Also, Diestro = Matador de toros, Torero, Bullfighter.
