Enrique Iglesias Preysler was born in Madrid, in 1975.
He has 9 brothers and sisters: Julio José and Chábeli Iglesias.Also: Tamara Falcó Preysler, from the Marquis of Griñón and Isabel Preysler.Another sister: Ana Boyer, from Miguel Boyer (a famous politic and Economist) and Isabel Preysler.After, he has 5 sisters and brothers: Miguel, Rodrigo, Victoria, Cristina and Guillermo, from the relationship among Julio Iglesias and Miranda Rijnsburger.
Since the terrorist organization ETA kidnapped to his grandfather, his parents were affraid and he and his brother, Julio José, went to live in Miami --they lived at their father´s home. Enrique was 7 years old.
As his father was out many times, Enrique was educated much more by his grandparents and his "tata" (his carer), Elvira Olivarez.In 1993, Enrique got finish the Bachelor of Business, by the University of Miami.
During his adolescence, he discovered his curiosity for Music; he discovered he had facility for composing lyrics.He began his musical career secret from his family.Thinking that his parents were against him, he decided ask for a help to his Nany Elvira and she gave him 500 dollards, in order that he could record a demo disk; so, he got to be famouse, between the different Record Companies.
As he did not want to be know as Julio Iglesias´s son, he introduced himself as "Enrique Martinez", from Guatemala.
When Enrique was 18 years old, he got his first contract to the Company Fonovisa.Some months after he signed for Fonovisa, he went to Toronto (Canada), in order to prepar his first album.
