A new Industrial Plan has been awarded to Spain by the Multinational of Automobile, RENAULT.
Although the agreement will not arrive until Wednesday, on the visit by the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, the Palencia plant, company sources have explained. Within these allotments, the factory in Palencia shall be visited by De los Mozos, in the presence of the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, opted for a new platform, and another derivative of this platform, which is shared with Nissan, and in total come four gearboxes. With the arrival of these new platforms, the factory of Palencia should reach volumes about 280.000 vehicles in a year, compared to 190.000 today. Also, Mechanical plants not only improve their competitiveness within the framework of the Alliance, to new assignments, but also would be made in 2014 and 2015 at peak performance, because bodies would produce 1.1 million each year to make 1.400.000.
In regards to the Factory Valladolid Body Assembly, which in the last Industrial Plan received the award of two models (Twizy and X-87), would benefit from better conditions of competitiveness, improving its position in the possible award of new products. To be eligible for this ambitious plan, it was necessary before a social agreement, that reaffirmed last November 13 unions UGT, CCOO and Tables Confederation, with a majority in the works council. The social agreement provides a wage increase of 50 percent in the CPI and 50 percent in a linear pay nonconsolidable linked to objectives, and includes a review clause upward wage concept linked to the CPI and the maintenance of the two extra March and September.

It also determines the fixed conversion of existing 800 replacement contracts and possible access by the formula of recruiting a total of 942 workers during the three year period. The agreement also establishes a safeguard clause is intended to ensure the implementation of all measures with the actual award to the Spanish plants the industrial plan and the subsequent production of new models.
