Sorry to keep writing threads, when i only found you yesturday! I just keep thinking of things you might find useful.

I know loads of you are desperate to know when you will complete. Just to give you our experience, this all started for us 4 years ago, and it must of been about a year ago that we were told completion was iminant..... then nothing! Then suddenly 2 weeks ago we recieved a phone call on a monday morning to say that completion would be that wednesday! We had no warning what so ever. So if you haven't heard anything try not to worry, we heard nothing for years then without warning completed in 48 hous.

 We were suppose to complete last wednesday then the last moment on the tuesday pm were told we wouldnot be completeing due to the fact afios mortgae lender could not make the notary we are now back in waiting mode told it could be this week or next who knows! just wondering when you did complete how long was you given to read an sign your final ststement and did it work out alot more than you thought it might be?

We are booked to come out 27 november and are praying we have completed by then.

 BY THE WAY OUR STORY IS THE SAME AS YOURS JUST MINUS THE BABY.

Hi Rob and Jac,

It all happened so quickly at the end, it's been a bit of a blurr! We didn't go with Aifos morgage lender so not sure about your fee's. My husband is going through paper work this afternoon, so can give you a better idea of fees then.

As far as time to read documents, i think they were e mailed over to us about 24 hours before completion, we then signed and faxed them back. Not sure whether we looked into everything as thourouly as we could! After all these years we just wanted the keys!

We were worried about the lack of liecence, but at the end of the day we made the discission to sign, and our spanish solicitor advised us to. I'll have to tell you if that was a good descision at a later date!

Hi,

Pete just gone through paper work, and think fee's were just under £1000. Didn't go through the same lender as you, so that's just a guess. Hope all goes well for completion next week!
