Hi Firefighter,
There is no work going on in phase 3. This is the same as literally hundreds of building sites on CDS - whether because the banks refused to lend any more money or because the developers realised they had more properties than they could sell I dont know but if you bought in Phase 3 you are in a queue - phase 1 is licenced but shouldn't have been. Phase 2 is not licenced - possibly because the issues with phase 1 have not been resolved.
I share Sonia's concern about the Developer. This is a family firm (albeit one who learned how to spend in the good times) but they may not have the resources to stay in business through the bad. This message was last edited by davmunster on 7/8/2008.

Hi Davmunster,
Thankyou for taking the time to reply. I can clearly see that the issues of the present residents are more pressing than mine and i hope that the future prospects of the Don Juan complex are bright.
Regards

Thanks for the replys to my enquirey. I hope you all resolve your problems with these developers. Has anyone seen their web site? Its worth a look just for the interest.
Many regards

When I asked her yesterday Perla said that work would resume on Phase 3 once Phase 2 had been completed. When would that be? "'0h in a few weeks". Think those of us on Phase 1 heard that phrase often enough.
They've now fenced in the land adjacent to the building site that is Phase 3. Is that to prevent break-ins / theft of the building materials stacked there?
Is the developer going bankrupt (or Spanish equivalent) or just battening down the hatches and going to wait it out until the market picks up again? The non completion of Phase 2 plus the unsold properties on Phase 3 must be hurting.

Anyone know how phase 3 is doing, has anyone completed and moved in yet? Is the developer managing to sell any at the moment? Last time I was there in July, Perla said that they were now selling and the starting price for a 2 bed was 230k.

Hi Andy,
The Phase 3 building is finished, licenced and even has a small number of occupants. One of the apartments is a show apartment and Perla is working hard showing clients this as well as properties in phase 2. Various options are being offered including let with option to purchase. It is hard to judge how successful she is being but there is a reasonable amount of interest.
The phase 3 swimming pool has not been commissioned and the surrounding area is not finished.
