Has anyone had any dealings with the furniture installers Je Ne Sais Quoi?

Hello,  We are dealing with Je Ne Se Quais and are struggling to get the furniture which we ordered back in January 2008.  Have you had any problems???

I have PM'd DMM and spoken on the phone. We have less than 50% of what we paid for in January 2008 having paid a hefty deposit in October 2007. I  am also  in contact with other very disatisfied customers. I don't believe I will ever get what I paid for. Unfortunately we only used them because they were recommended by Parador whom we bought through. I have now instructed our Solicitor to try and salvage something and also to sue them, as under English law it would be Fraud and I believe it is very similar under Spanish Law

These are all pretty shocking stories. Sorry to hear all the crap you are going through.

Are there any furniture pack providers that anyone WOULD recommend? What about VillaPac who are recommended on this site? Has anyone had any dealings with them?

We used Furniture Express who are based in Estepona - we have a property in San Miguel, Costa Blanca.  They were top class, nothing was too much trouble despite me changing my mind (often!).  We couldn't visit their showroom but they sent me loads of emails with pictures of bedding, curtains, lamps etc.  In the end there was so much choice we left some of the design to them and we are delighted with the result.

The quality iof the furniture is good, and modern,  the installation was done on time, and with no mess by two great guys.  On top of that we got loads of extras (lamps. vases mirrors, rug etc) which we didn't expect.  Highly recommended!

Not the cheapest but it was well worth what we paid.
