A question, or two, for those people who have already completed.

Did you do your own snagging or did you employ a specialist company?

Has anyone found any significant problems post-snagging and been able to get them sorted out by the builder?

Hi We did our own ..Taray like to work that firstly you complete, then after a day or two Helder will have an appointed time to visit you and make notes on your assesments. Its up to you, but because you get time to look at evey thing I don't think I would spend the money. In any case you are no more likley to have any faults repaired even if your list is done by a third party. Helder is the man to resolve the faults so I would go with him. That said we still have some outstanding work from 5 months ago but it is only minor stuff....good luck which ever way you decide

Just a personal thought.

I would want to do the snagging before I complete.

That way Taray would have an incentive to put it right quickly.

As Widds said. He has been waiting 5 months. These maybe minor faults but he is still waiting.

As for using a 3rd party. There are people who will do this for you. They charge about £250. At the end of the day this could save you an airfare and they do know what they are looking for.
