Having just taken ownership of a Quad on manzana 5, I have noticed that some of the Quads have all the same small green plants along the fences and some have not.
Is this something that Taray does to give some basic privacy or is it something that owners have done?

Hi Steve & Carol,
Lots of people (including us) have taken the green leafed plants out as Taray plant them on both sides of the boundary fences. They grow to about two feet thick over time and need trimming as well as taking space off your garden. Something to bear in mind if you are not living there. If your neighbours leave their's in, you get coverage anyway without losing any garden space. We are intending to plant some climbing, flowering plants of our own instead, but as a temporary measure, lots of people have installed artificial grass/bamboo/mesh screening to give privacy. These are available at the local DIY stores and cost around 60 euro to cover a quad garden (they fix on with tie wire). Hope this helps. We completed in April in Manzana 4 and are just about getting to know the ins and outs. If you need any more information, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks for the advice. I know that one side of us our neighbours have got the plants so will take your advice and not 'double' up as we wont be out there that much. Like the idea of the mesh/screening and did see that quite a few people have put it around so I think for a bit of 'simple' privacy its a good idea. Thanks once again.

Hi Steve & Carole,
If you do decide on the mesh covering, we went all the way to the large B&Q type DIY store Leroy Merlin (towards Cartagena) for ours and then found out it was a euro cheaper per roll in Bricohouse in San Javier town centre (to save the journey!). How do you like your new holiday home? We love ours and can't wait to get back there!!
