I expect you all know that Telemicro has gone bust and whilst they insist that service will be resumed in the future I doubt it very much. Telemicro is in serious trouble with the law. Not just rebroadcasting channels  illegally but fiddling the money paid for channels they had "rights" for and evading tax "big time". 

It also looks like the service from the other rebroadcast packages will soon be off air very soon. The available channels are being cut week by week.

What can we do?

One of three things.

1) nothing  and do without UK TV channels.

2) hope that the existing services will return.

3) get a community aerial and get your TV direct from the sattelite.

The cost of a big dish is 2-3 thousand euros - not a lot when shared out between us.

You then need a box. If you are not here all the time bring your Sky box and card from home.

You can then either watch the free channels or subscribe to a service.
