Musicians and live music in Spain

Hi All

With frequent visits lined up the car hire gets expensive so we are thinking that we may buy a second hand car next year. There are not many garages that sell used cars in Spain unlike in the UK. I've found Venus Cars SL in Torremendo which is not far from Almoradi but have anyone got info. on other garages and ex car rental options?

I also found a dealer on ebay es who will do all the paperwork as well but I like to see what I'm buying.

Hi Ken. I'm sure the hunt for a used car in Spain is at least as bad as searching over here. Plenty of ads in CBN for garages. Make sure you get a good warranty & if i were you i'd spend plenty of time shopping around. Most garages will certainly help sort all necessary paperwork. Looks like there's a few near Torrevieja. Where did Rob get his? Good luck with your search. (If you plan to keep the car in Spain I would not be tempted into buying a 'bargain' rhd if I were you & further more I am certainly not an e-bay fan when it comes to buying motors)

Thanks for your comments, I'll ask Rob where he got his from. I'm not in a hurry to buy so I'll start looking around when we are 'back home in Spain' next year. The weather in Cornwall has been fantastic today, blue skies, calm sea and wall to wall sunshine, looked like your photos but I suspect a tad colder.

We have given the purchase of a car agreat deal of thought very much along the same line of thinking but cannot make up our  minds on the economics with hire being so cheap in the winter months and fancying driving down now and again in the summer months.

However if you want to see what it costs look up Global Cars on the internet - they have everything from new Mercs (proper big ones) to bangers. If you get a new 500 series Merc can we come and watch you park it in the Garage?

Global also have a fascinating (what seems too good to be true) airport parking arrangement.
