Maybe i don´t understand the picture?
What does it show? All i can see are some cranes or is it the resolution on my pc not showing anything else?
If it´s a better resolution do you see all the foundation bases? Or are there other pictures with this on it?
Sorry but i don´t know if the title of the post is supposed to be ironic or not?

I do not know when the satelite picture has been taken, but it shows the Trampolin Hills building area (I think the picture is taken sometime in 2007)
The point with the picture is not to be ironic but to say that "why stop now" when
all the grounds are prepared,
a lot of money and efforts has been put into the preparations of the project,
Many of the properties has already been sold
It would cost even more to bring it back to how it was before

Ogo, just because they have prepared the ground and taken deposits means nothing. You are a little naive to think that.
The property we were buying had the foundations started, the developer had taken millions of pounds (sterling) in deposits. The Town Hall then revoked the Building Licence as it had been "bought" illegally. (Bribes) This was in Marbella. We all had to go through the Courts to execute our (11th hour!!) Bank Guarantees to get our money back. Many of us had two court cases as the developer appealed!!!. We eventually got our deposit of 100,00+ euros back. But not before spending even more on costs. Tish.
If you have followed this forum for a while you have just confirmed my argument that "building way is the only way" by saying: "We eventually got our deposit of 100,00+ euros back. But not before spending even more on costs"
In my case, I don't want to waste my time, my energy, my anger, my frustration and money on court cases that, in the end, will "zero out" my investment. I will stand tall through rain and storm until the project is sanctioned and built!
Eventually when the market comes back the houses and appartements will rise as well!
I hope that Grupo Trampolin has used their time well to sort out all indifferences with the government
(and by putting the project on hold, when heads started to roll in Spain, I would argue that GT has proven to take the role as a responsible actor in this game - despite that all are suffering, I believe it is the right thing to do)
So if the picture does not say anything to some of you, I really don't give a darn
For me it gives some perspective over the situation (in addition to the size of the project itself)

Ogo we got our deposit back, + 4%(average) interest + ALL of our costs back. It was well worth it.! If you just "hope & pray" that it will all turn out OK the developer will most likely disappear into the sunset and you will be too late to get anything back. My point is, don't think they cannot possibly stop developing TH. They can., especially if there are as many problems that, as a reader of this thread, there appears to be. You should have a contingency plan in place to action if it all goes belly up. This message was last edited by Tish on 10/3/2008.

I joined EOS in 2004. I was in a bad situation and desperate to contact other purchasers from our development who were in the same situation as my husband & I. I've lost count of the number of people who contacted me with the help of EOS. I've gained a great deal of info along the way. Facetious comments such as yours Worcester help no one.

Goodness, goodness!!! Trish does not have to justify how many posts she has made!!! Well done for getting your money back Trish - and I am sure that being active in terms of communication would be a major factor in your success!! I can't understand the hostility. I never post on this forum, or rarely, but I just wanted to support your right to post!!
And Worcester, these are not blogs - they are forum entries, and take seconds to do - unlike a blog.

Roly2,
If people are offended by me pointing out the obvious, then I apologise. However, I take it personally when people try to run down a
development which I and many others have invested in. This serves no purpose when deposits have been paid.
If the project fails for whatever reason and the bank guarantees are no good, I'll worry about it then. That's is when the likes of Tish
and everybody else are welcome to throw their thoughts and experience in. Until then I will take the time to learn the difference between
a blog and a forum.
Thanks for the up date Brian (Rough Diamond) that's what we want to hear.
Regards,
Worcester

Thanks Roly2! To some ignorance is bliss and it is everyones perrogative to spend their money as they wish. Fortunately not everyone is so "head in the sand" as some who post on this thread. Meanwhile I will respond to the people who pm'd me and are not above listening to others experience of the corrupt dealings of Spanish developers .
Worcester your "sign off" says everything about you. ....."I know a little about a lot of things and I know everything about nothing."
I sincerely hope that Trampolin Hills actually happens and that dreams are not shattered.

Hi, this so far is the most promising we have seen since th development started. Our photos proved that work is going ahead. This must give us all hope and even though some may pursue their money back I dont blame them, whatever their reasons we cant all afford to wait forever. The majority will stick it out and hopefully there will be a big party. We will wait and see?

I spoke to a person responsable for "urbanismo" at the town hall of Campos del Rio on the phone yesterday. He was very confident that the Trampolin Hills project will go through in the town hall within this month of October which should mean that building licences will be granted very soon. I have no doubt building will start inmediately after licences are obtained. The person I spoke to felt that the project is of no inconveniance to anyone and on the contrary will provide money to the municipality, work and "life" to the community. This news releived me of my worries and that is why I am sharing it with you readers. Buyers and builders should now stand together and put pressure on politicians to end further delays and worries.
