Not going to be holding any keys until May/June but would really like the contact details of your friends in Yorkshire.

I would also like to recommend Tracy & Mark who are offering an excellant key holding service. Nothing is too much trouble for them Mark is great for any handy jobs you require doing, he did a few for us whilst we stayed in our apartment last week, and did an exellant job.

Carols the girl for the job, we certainly feel comfortable thats shes looking after our place when we're not there.  Pm me for her details.

I agree that Carol is a good solution, but there are too many apartments (3000+) for any one person especially if you want to maintain a quality and fast service.

I started this thread for no other reason than to help some really nice trustworthy people out. They certainly helped me when I went over by myself. They help me because they were nice people and nothing else. It was me who suggested they think about providing a service

Condado is big enough for many tens of key management and other services. some will provide better services than others and I am sure the nice people I met from Yorkshire will be one of them

A couple of thoughts on this subject...
I agree that there will need to be many providers of this service on Condado to manage the number of properties and hopefully this will ensure competitive pricing and good quality services. However, at the outset (and on-going) you are employing someone who you may know very little about to carry out duties for you in your absence. I would therefore recommend that you provide people you are renting out to with some kind of feedback form to complete at the end of their stay. This could cover standard of cleanliness, how good the 'meet and greet' was, etc. This will enable you to get an impartial view on the quality of service you are receiving - often will give a more honest opinion when completing a feedback form than being asked as they may not like to give negative comments otherwise. The form could also be a way of getting some info on other topics too (facilities, etc).
Also, I would try to get the service providers to accept a trial period where services are paid for monthly rather than annually. Do you really want to pay someone 300 euros for key holding for a year only to find out they are providing a poor service two months into the agreement ? It would be far better to pay 25 euros a month at least for a trial. If the service provider is confident of the quality of their service then they should have no worries with this approach.

We also would like to recommend Mark and Tracy , we met them when checking our friends apartment , we just asked if they knew a electrician as the guy we had lined up to fit our lights etc.let us down twice, and as much as we liked the candles , it went from there. They were not pushy at all and gave us there price list for maintenance/cleaning/laundry etc.
Tracy and Mark fitted our lights and bathroom fitments, and we also decided to opt for the weekly check which gives up complete peace of mind to know that if we are leaving the apartment for long periods there is someone looking after things.
We found them to be a really nice couple,who have sold up in the UK and trying to make a go of things in Spain. so good luck to them.(and all the others brave enough to take the plunge)

WE'd also recommend Carol and her team to anyone looking for a key holder/property services. She did a 1st class clean for us prior to our visit last week and even managed a delivery emergency when she really didnt have to. Having met her we feel more secure that we have some one reliable to keep a close eye on the apartment when we are not there and who will tailor the services to our needs.

On our 2 visits to stay in our apartment since completing in July we have got to know Carol Miller and her family well, as they are close neighbours of ours in garden 13. 
She is our keyholder and provides an excellent service. We would recommend her keyholding and property managing services to anyone.

We were planning on using PW for rentals but on emailing Carol & then meeting up with her we changed our minds and went with Carol. I found her to be VERY helpful and answered all sorts of questions that PW never could. I feel so glad to know that there is someone there that will look after our apartment while we cant.

We would like to recommend Robb and Joanne at Jardine 10.  They are looking after our apartment and provide all the services that the previous threads have mentioned below. Robb is also a
proffesional carpenter and will be fitting cupboards under our stairs for us.   I think a good idea if you are looking for a key holder is to suggest to meet them face to face preferable in their home.  This speaks volumes and gives you good vipes of wheather that person is right for you.   Joanne is a such a lovely down to earth person, and it is reassuring to know they are looking after our apartment.

Cath and Kevin did all our bits and bobs for us last time we were out.  They were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they even spent some time showing us how to get to various places ie campasol, mazeron etc.
