2 bed showhouse visit

Hi everyone came back on friday after our 2nd holiday in San juan.  The development looked so impressive and really stands out now, It was good to see people in the first few phases, you can walk up and down the roads and have a really good look at the houses and the finish. the middle area is stoned now all the way to the bottom and planted out, but it is still all fenced off in parts so could only see our little corner of roof in the distance phase 8 north garden end. went to the office on saturday to ask if we could see the 2 bed show house and she said oohh their not happy with it theyre re modeling it! I said you said that in May!!! oohh come back on wednesday she said, went back and we ACTUALLY GOT IN! the house was absolutely beautiful the lounge was very spacious even though the furniture was far too big, the kitchen was great with loads of cupboards and  a massive fridgefreezer in it, the finish seems vey good, the yard out the back seems very big, upstairs bed 1 feels huge the wardrobe is massive with 4 sliding doors on it, hubby can have a 1/4 must be generous! bed 2 was bigger than we expected, 2 singles fit easily and has another massive wardrobe. bathromm is well equiped with nice suite and the shower room too. roof terrace also felt very big with a great veiw. I was boled over to finally see it, we will all certainly have something ver spacial. another miracle happened that day too hubby went for a walk and saw the fence was moved and had been standing outside our house so i jumped in the car and we actually saw in our house because the front window and blind were up, in the front gardens there is a troff of dirt up the side left to be planted out which is nice. the next day the fence was back up so glad we went back. we were told our completion will be december but cant see it, because the pool isnt even dug out and then theres the paths and road too, mark walked to the bottom golf course which is looking good, you still cant get up the pulpi road to it as it is being dug up and re done, there is a massive new island and a hotel being built just downfrom the small park area. went into Aguilas Plaza, wow this place is amazing very modern, loads of nice shops bars and cafes and Eroski is great, you really can buy everything there tv,s fridgefreezers food, anything. hope this helps anyone it really will be worth the wait. putting some pictures on of, garden area,phase 8 pool! 2 bed show house, bottom golf course, hotel and Agiulas Plaza. regards to everyone Sharon and Mark.

Thank you for the photos and for the detailed report it is very interesting.

We completed on our property a few months ago,on phase 1, We have been on one holiday so far but our friends spent a week there recently and said they tried to find a fault in the  building work but couldnt find one thing wrong.  Glad the central zone is getting ready to open up - maybe when we go again on November 27th it will be finished.  

You are right about making the right choice - its a fantastic site - cant wait to get back to the sunshine.

Not that it matters (well to the buyers it does...hehe) but the building opposite Las Mimosas and the new roundabout is apartments not a hotel. I actually have someone renting one of my propertys at the moment who has bought one.

I thought that apartment builds were restricted to three floor levels in the area, hotels four.
Surely that building is higher ?

I asked this at the town hall and they said that they had a special dispensation given,because its on the golden sun beach golf project.
It looks to me like the ground floor will be commercial units.

Understand also that this apartment block is the first of 3 - the other 2 being built towards Pepa's i.e. down towards the beach.
We were advised that another technicality re no. of floors is when the ground level is being used for parking.

Yes its difficult to know. The plans Ive seen show 5 blocks in total and looking at what they are doing to the ground around the salinas i think there will come more in the future.
There definately looks like another one will go next to the current one opposite Las Mimosas.
Even the people that have bought them dont seem to know much about the ground floor. It could be parking, but financially thats a waste of good square meters. Also when i walked around it I couldnt see any access to the ground floor except doorways.

 Whatever happens......... there goes my seaview.
