Hi Everyone,

I know it's a bum ache, but I have looked and can't find  numbers and/or email addresses of PW departments that I need now that we have COMPLETED
It would be useful for all other up and coming completers on Naranjos as well.

Carol said we need to contact PW to make sure our water and electric are on for her to clean.  Who do I contact for that?
For furniture deliveries, air con etc.  Who do we contact to give them all authority to go into our apartments?

I'm sure there must be more than this, that I need to know, so if anyone can think of anything else that may be handy, would appreciate it very much as it will stop me having to use my head so much.   Big Thanks everyone

customerservice@polarisworld.com just tell the you need water and electricity and they will organise to get you the builders supply connected and if you are getting furniture delivery you will need to fill out a consent form and send to furniture company.

Thanks Juicy,  and do we get the consent forms from the same place?

Do I remember a few of you having trouble with people being let in by Polaris?  Did you just get your keys from them in the end and give, or sign a consent form for Carol to have them?

Hi June

Firstly, congratulations on your completion!  

With regard to the keys, if you e-mail customer services about the water/electricity, they will sort that out for you.  I also e-mailed them and confirmed that they were authorised to release the key to Gary at Polarair - you don't need a special Consent Form, just an e-mail will do giving details of who is to collect the key, date etc.  

Yes, there were problems with PW giving the key to people who then left properties unlocked, or doors wide open!  We took the key back from them in  August when we were over and told them that Carol would be our keyholder from that point and they recorded her details on the computer.   I would definitely take the key from them!

The phone number for the Customer Services portacabin (shack!) at Condado is 00 34 902 500 821.

Hope this helps - just as much to sort out once you've completed as before, but it does get better, honest!

Hi Debbie,  Thank you for that info.  I think we will err on the side of caution and give the key to Carol when we go out.  Luckily apart from Carol there are only 2 suppliers going in before we get there.  Gary at Polarair and Illucom.  According to Emma at Snagit,  one of our apartments has been signed off and the other only has a couple of small things that need finishing, so there shouldn't be any need for workmen after that.   So, everything seems to be coming together. 
It's good to know it gets better, I thought once we'd completed that would be it, but it's only the start.  Not complaining though.  June

Carol now has our key:  but initially we emailed our delivery companies to give them permission to take the key from the site office to do our deliveries- they then print off the email.

Whilst we were there last week we had furniture delivered and had told PW we would be on site for the delivery- however a PW workman turned up to open our apartment and he had two massive bunches of keys. Which we think suggests they dont just take out isolated sets of keys to open up apartments and thats why we decided to take our keys off PW.
