2000 euro voucher

I have bid on a 2000 euro voucher on ebay to spend at Polaris World Homestyle.

Does anyone know anything about these vouchers or ever heard of them.

I remember that some agents were offering something like this as a sales incentive so maybe that is how this person has come by theirs.

If anyone has had one of these or knows anything about them please let me know if there are terms and conditions, minimum spend or expiry time.

I am intrigued about this voucher how did you get on with the bidding?  I must admit I did go on and have a look but I couldn't find it?

I won it for £500, which I was well chuffed with as 66% saving!

But I have been in touch with Polaris and they say it can only be used by the person it was issued to. Presumably they have numbers which will relate to the person it was issued to, and they will require ID.  So the only way I could make use of it is if the seller was with me in the PW Homestyle shop. So luckily I found all this out before I paid. The seller is being difficult and saying he is gonna report me as non-paying bidder, but I have reported him for trying to sell something that is worthless and non-transferable. So everyone beware and do not buy one. Do correct me if anyone knows that any of my facts are wrong or if there is a way I could have used this voucher. The seller says he was given it by PW in July when he paid 135,000 euros for apartment on Hacienda and has since pulled out and lost money. Don't know if that is of any relevance.

Hi Tara,

We were offered one of these "carrots" in April when we went out to look at the apartments.

Being a cautious type I asked to see the voucher.

The one  I was shown clearly stated "non transferable" and also had space for the customers name and apartment number to be written on.
