For anyone that still comes here  and hasn't visited AA recently. We went to Vera town centre the other day and all the parking bays have been blue lined and parking meters installed!! Not sure what the costs were as we didn't stay and went to Mojacar instead.

Thanks for the information Mark.  Will now only go there if it is really necessary although it may mean at least we would find a space which has been a problem in the past.

We went into Vera this morning and it appears that the blue bays are only in the immediate town centre, whereby you pay at one pay machine.  The parking down the side streets is still free an there is plenty of spare land parking just about 200mts from Mercadona, downhill, so it´s not as bad as it first appears, just watch out for the blue lines and, of course, the yellow lines on the kerbs
