Some friends of ours are visiting our apartment soon and want to experience "real Spanish life". Any suggestions about where they can go, both locally (El Rincon) on foot for evenings and day time by car? TIA

Hi Gill A great place that we go to every visit is Lo Pagon, its a place where they have mud flats on one side and the sea on the other of a big long walkway that takes you near enough over to La Manga, all the locals use it to get covered in mud which is supposedly a miracle cure for aches and pains then you let it dry then wash it off its great fun. There is excellent shallow waters there because its a great big harbor in effect. There is also a nature reserve near by with a excellent beach where the Spanish teachers take the children for lessons on the beach Its about a 30 min drive down the N332, a realy great place.
