Hi Pete
I agree with George and recommend you use Gary of Polair Costablance www.polaraircostablanca.com/ good price, down to earth person, gave good advice, excellent units and first class workmanship. He is well recommended on this forum, he has done lots of installation on Condado and to the best of my knowledge all are very satisfied. He will recommend you the best option for your needs.

in that case why not just put one air con unit in the lounge.then for heaters get gas heaters.they are the cheapest form of heating in spain.im sure the gas bottles will be delivered.if not there will be a retailer near by.there is also a new energy efficient electric wall heater .go to the supermarket next to ikea in murcia.

Hi Pete
I spent a lot of time obtaining quotes from a number of reputable companies in the Murcia region; I believe that Gary’s prices are very competitive in relation to the competition. I would recommend you ask him for a quote for the same units as you have been quoted for (Diatsu?) and see how it compares and ask if he would recommend them for you. I don’t know the company you have mentioned and have no idea if they are good or not. I would recommend whomever you have you make sure they are a reputable and recommended company. I have been told about some very dodgy companies setting up supplying cheap imported inferior units and when they breakdown cannot be repaired due to not being able to obtain parts, I am not suggesting the quote you have is relevant to this, I am just suggesting you make sure all is as good as you hope it is. There is often truth in the saying buy it cheap buy it twice and if it sound to good to be true it probably is.
Regards
Phil

We are completing in late February and will probably be using Gary from Polarair. The main reason is that he comes reccommended from other forum users who have bought on Condado. From what I hear, he will be about on site for quite a while with future completors looking for AC to be installed. This means he will more than likely be about should something go wrong, plus the fact that if his standards starts to fall, he will loose a lot of business as word of mouth travels very quickly...both for good news and bad news.
I also understand he supplies and fits the Daiatsu units.
