Hi Jardineers,

We are in a 1st floor 2 - bedder & are wondering what size tv's people are using in the corner of lounge by the water heater.

Does a 32" overpower or is a 26" like a pea in the pod, can someone just us their ideas, to help tip the balance one way or the other .

We can't wait for March, to be in the Jardines again, isn't it great to feel like kids again!!!!

Hi Angus & Joan,

We've bucked the trend & gone for a 19".......  We didn't want it to be the focus of the room (we even had a fellow neighbour admit to us that he thought his 32" TV was a 'bit too big').  Its all personal choice at the end of the day & we did have some debate over it, but at least it will encourage us not to sit around the TV all holiday eh??

Hi

We have also gone for 19" - the apartment is really compact and I hate clutter - we have 42" LCD on the wall at home and it dominates - dont want that on holiday  - my sons eyes are gonna be 42" soon

Hi

We went for the 26" and it is fine.  I think 32" would be too big.

.......and another thing (slightyl off topic) when the much vaunted cable TV thingy is working, does anyone know if Channel 4 is available? I have dropped a major you know what by booking our next trip the week that the Cheltenham Festival is on and I am loathed to miss it as I either go or watch on TV every year. Yes yes I know I should be out enjoying the local surroundings but just thought I'd ask

Hi,

We went for a 26" tv, I think that will be big enough.

Hi to all who replied,

thanks for your input on the subject, so it doesn't overpower the seating area, we have now gone for a 26" after much debate on how often are we going to watch against being outside in the nice climate.

We've bought a freesat box also, have found the Astra satellite footprint site, so when we get a SHHH!!!! dish, we'll be able to tune in some of uk channels, well that's the idea at this moment.

Thanks again folks.
