new to site - info needed

Hi all,

i am new to this site, and i was looking for some information. I found this site by luck.

Myself and my wife are looking to buy in spain,  and are looking in the area that sierra golf is in.

There is just the 2 of us and was thinking of getting a 2 bedroom. I have been on grupo masa website and see there is a few, millenium and bogey etc.

I was wondering if people could tell me what like these are in respect to size, situation  and if they are ready to move into.etc.

I was also hoping that people could tell me a little about the whats available on site and nearby.

I was also hoping for some news on how the recession is in spain compared to the uk, and has this had an effect on mortgages etc.

hi Helga, welcome to eos and to sierra golf.  the whole area around SG is a great place to be.  Excellent motorway and trnasport links to mountains, national parks, nature reserves, cities like Murcia and Cartagena with great shopping and nightlife.  Locally there are fantastic beaches and marinas for all sorts of sports or just enjoying the weather.

prices on sg are fantastic compared to many other golf locations nearby.  all properties have their own outside garden and most have 2 bedrooms.  house sizes are good for the price and the properties are really nice.  it's probably best if you can visit and view the houses yourselves.  look for ones that are finished but not yet sold and there are some good value re-sales on the site (some advertised here on eos).   keep in touch with someone like bobby50 (last poster), he lives on site and is a mine of information. good luck.
