Lack of maintenance for Boiler and Airconditioning units!!

Hi,

Our heating  boiler and airconditioning units in the lounge + 2 beds (additionally purchased from PW) are nearly a year old now. I have enquired to PW callcentre about purchasing the  3 year maintenance scheme for the boiler and Full preventative servicing for all the aircon units as described on page 16 of the PW services handbook.

To my amazement . They advised that these schemes are no longer available and the only offer they do is the packaged silver,gold and Platinum property mangement deals which is not what we want. The did say that ROCA did offer a maintenance deal for the boiler, but PW could offer no help for maintenance of the aircon units (which we purchased thru them) which is a disgrace.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem or know of any local companies that can offer a maintenance scheme eg includes annual service, parts and labour for faults) on the said units.for boiler and aircon.?? ... Maggie21, any ideas ???

Do not know about Boiler Maintenance Companies but I assume that just like here in the UK most airconditioning companies provide annual maintenance agreements. A contract for maintenance inclusive of all parts and labour would be very expensive. Dependant on how much refrigerant is in your system(s) a single annual service visit would suffice with service calls and materials charged extra. Always get a fixed price for any repairs, these days it is sometimes cheaper to replace the unit than have a compressor change. Manufacturers like Mitsubishi Electric have systems that can utilise the existing interconnecting services.

Thanks for the replys, we will look around locally for companies that can offer this maintenance when over again in a couple of weeks time.

At least we have a golfers toilet now by the 12th tee, although privately I was hoping it would be another bar, Woodhouse 2 perhaps as we are only 50metres away from it. However  S***house 1 is still better than the bushes.
