Local Vet

Does anyone have any details of a local vet, ideally in Sucina.

The local vet in Sucina has moved to San Javier, and at the moment I can't find the change of address but will have a further look for you during the week.  We only used them for the worming etc for coming back home but I did assist with another dog who's owner was rather squeamish and she seemed very professional.

This time when we were over outrdog had a continuing problem with an infected foot, and we went to a vet in San Javier (not the one from Sucina) and they gave us antibiotics but when we went for the check up to return to UK, they said the foot didn't require any further antibiotics but see our own vet when we got home. He had to have his toe amputed before Christmas so I would not recomend them.

I did notice a vets on the roundabout at the Mercadona supermarket not sure if that is the one. I will let you know if I find the address.

Particularly interested in a Vet that does the necessary so that we (and dog) can travel back home through the French Frontiers.

We use the vet in San javier by the mercadona on the hispania commercial centre.  They have been very good and were recommended to us by someone who has been here for quite a few years.  They speak some english and are always very helpful and Poppy our dog is always happy to go and the vet makes a real fuss of her.  hope this helps
