BEST SUPERMARKET

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where the best supermarket is in terms of value for money. We are coming over end of March and want to do our first "big shop". We are quite happy to go to the one in Campasol, but is there a cheaper and better one? I remember reading about a Carrefour on the way to Cartegena.

Any advice would be welcome.

Eroski @ Nueva Condiminium Shopping Centre is very good.

it all depends what your shopping for

Eroski  is good  (nearest Nueva Condiminium, Murcia on the A7 towards alicante or Cartagena)

carrefour in cartegena is also good

hey are more hypermarkets so they are like tesco extra stores  I would say Eroski is slightly cheaper then Carrefour

Closer to home:-

Mercadona in Puerto Mazarron or in Alhama  - geat for the fresh fish counter

Upper in Puerto de Mazarron  - stock quiet some UK brands in you want them

Lidl in Puerto for the beer and wine   and special offers often same as in UK

 Consum in Camposol  - not bad but not for a big shop  - not the cheapest and rather limited products

Hiya our first visit was in October where we went shopping in Mazzaron and found everything what we need for a reasonable price. Next door to there is a cafe called "The Teapot" excellent place for a cuppa and snacks all English  people.

Just on the same road are 2 places where you can get electricals from  unless you want to go to the carrefour. Muebles and the shop opposite.

Sorry......  i know this has been asked before and i know i should know the answer but what time does the supermarket in Camposol close

Depending on what you are buying, if it is only food Pt of Mazzarron has two supermarkets right across the road from each other, Llidl and I can't remember the name of the other, but I got a bottle of white rum in Llidls for under 4 euros, bargain or what.
